About R. Shane McFarland, P.C.

Mr. McFarland received his B.A. from Rice University in 1994. He graduated from law school at the University of Texas in 1998 and was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 1999. He has practiced family law exclusively in Austin and surrounding areas since becoming licensed. He completed training in Collaborative Family Law in 2001, and mediation training in 1998. He became certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law in 2004. Mr. McFarland is married with two children and in his free time enjoys swimming and dachshund racing.
